Hi, I’m Molly. I’m 18 years old, and this is my third summer working at sailing school which has been a place that has been a huge part of my life since I started coming here as a kid. I just finished my first year at Saint Mary's University, where I’m completing a Bachelor of Science with a focus in psychology. Over the past few years, I’ve worked mainly with CANSail 1's, and I’ve loved helping young sailors build their skills and confidence on the water. My favourite boat is the Opti because it’s where so many of my best sailing memories began. I am very excited for summer 2026!

Hi, I’m Olivia! I just finished my third year at St. Francis Xavier University, where I’m completing a Bachelor of Science in Psychology. This will be my sixth summer working at sailing school, which has been a huge part of my life ever since I got involved at a young age. Over the years, my passion for sailing has continued to grow both on and off the water. For the past few summers, I mainly coached CANSail 3, where I loved helping young sailors build confidence, improve their skills, and learn the basics of racing. This summer, I’m especially excited to be stepping into my first year as head race coach and to share my experience and enthusiasm for competitive sailing with the next generation of racers. My favourite boat is the ILCA 6, and I had the opportunity to compete in that class at the Canada Games in Newfoundland last summer. I’m looking forward to an amazing summer!!

Hi everyone, my name is Ben Pelletier and this will be my 4th year with Greater Shediac Sailing School. I’m 19 years old, I grew up in Rothesay, but I spend my summers in Shediac. my favorite boat is the 420, and I’ve done many regattas in them. I just finished my first year at Dalhousie University in Halifax, and I am doing a Bachelor of Management. I can’t wait to get started this summer and see everyone!

Hey, I’m Florent AKA Floco. I’m 18 years old and the summer of 2026 will be my first year as a CANsail instructor. I started sailing at 11 years old and It has shaped the person that I am today. I have just graduated from l’École l’Odyssée and I will be going to Dalhousie University in fall 2026 for my bachelor in arts, focusing on maritime history.  Sailing has taught me many things from skills to life lessons and I’m very excited to be sharing this experience with our future sailors.

Hey I’m Hughie, i’m 17 and this is my 10th year sailing and 3rd year working at GSSS. I just graduated high school and am studying business at university in the fall. I can’t wait to have a great summer!

Hey I’m Patrick, this is my first year instructing at the greater shediac sailing school and I’m very exited to get started. I’ve been sailing as long as I can remember and it’s by far one of my favourite sports. I hope to show you why this summer! 

Hi my name is Frankie. I am 21 years old, and this is my second summer working at the sailing school as a wet feet instructor. I just finished my third year at Dalhousie University, studying kinesiology. My favourite sailboat is an Opti, because it’s the perfect way to start getting comfortable on the water. I love making sailors feel comfortable, get out of their comfort zone safely, and truly enjoy having fun on the water. That’s what is most important. Looking forward to summer 2026!
