420 Community Race night
Venue
The Greater Shediac Sailing School will host this event at the Sailing School located at 40 Pointe-du-Chêne Wharf road in Shediac NB on July 14th, 2026 from 5:00pm - 8:30pm.
Eligibility
The Greater Shediac Sailing School Community Race night is an open event.
Classes
The community race night will be a single class event using C420’s.
The GSSS will be chartering our 10 420’s for use, privately owned boats are welcome to join.
Fees
All boats are subject to a $25 dollar registration fee with no additional individual participant cost.
Individual Registration not required, please register only once per boat.
Schedule
5:00 – Arrival and rigging
5:25 – Brief Skippers Meeting
6:00 – First Gun
7:45 – Final Gun
8:30 – Results and Awards
Rules
The Race night will be governed by the 2025-2028 Racing Rules of Sailing
Safety
All participants must wear personal buoyancy device
